Scott Free is an impressive 60-meter motor yacht originally built in 2009 by renowned German shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen. Following an extensive €10 million interior refit and exterior retrofit during the winter of 2021/2022, she presents in immaculate condition and combines exceptional German engineering with sophisticated Italian-inspired interiors and an outstanding selection of spaces for entertaining, relaxing and enjoying life on the water.

 

Up to 12 guests are accommodated in six versatile cabins, including a magnificent main-deck master suite and a particularly clever lower-deck configuration that can be adapted to suit different charter groups. A magnificent private master suite

 

The owner’s suite occupies a privileged position on the main deck and offers an impressive amount of private space.

 

Guests enter through a long private lobby running alongside a substantial office, which has its own shower room. Vaulted doors lead into the spacious bedroom, where the forward-facing bed is surrounded by comfortable lounge areas and twelve large oval windows. These distinctive windows fill the suite with natural light and provide wonderful views from throughout the room.

 

The exceptionally generous His and Hers bathroom is another highlight. A central Jacuzzi bath separates the two sides, each of which has its own rainfall shower and private facilities. Separate walk-in wardrobes provide ample storage, while a vanity area adds another thoughtful detail to the suite.

 

Together with the dedicated office, the master accommodation creates a genuine private apartment within the yacht and is particularly appealing for longer charters.

 

Exceptionally flexible guest accommodation

 

Scott Free’s lower-deck accommodation is cleverly designed to adapt to the requirements of different families and groups.

 

Two generous double cabins each feature their own en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and overhead rainfall shower. Opposite these are two convertible cabins that can be arranged either as twins or doubles, each with its own en-suite shower room.

 

What makes the arrangement particularly unusual is the possibility of combining each double cabin with the convertible cabin opposite to create two large full-beam guest suites. In this configuration, one room becomes the bedroom while the other can be used as a private lounge, giving guests significantly more personal space.

 

The sixth cabin is located forward on the bridge deck and is an ingenious multi-purpose room. Equipped with two Pullman berths and an en-suite shower room, it works particularly well as a children’s or nanny cabin, for younger guests or as a playroom. A concealed hairstyling sink also allows the space to double as a beauty and massage room when not required as accommodation.

 

Sophisticated interiors with Italian influence

 

Following her major refit, Scott Free’s interiors combine elegant Italian styling with lavish furnishings and a warm, comfortable atmosphere.

 

The main salon offers generous seating together with a bar and formal dining for all 12 guests. Throughout the yacht, carefully selected finishes and furnishings create a sophisticated environment that feels luxurious without becoming overly formal.

 

The spacious skylounge provides a second major social area and features an illuminated bar together with a game table that can also serve as an intimate dining setting. It is an inviting alternative to the main salon and gives guests plenty of choice when deciding where to spend their evenings.

 

Modern audiovisual systems, Apple TV and an extensive Kaleidescape entertainment system are integrated throughout, while the technology and connectivity aboard Scott Free were substantially upgraded as part of the 2021/2022 refit.

Alfresco dining for all 12 guests is available both on the bridge deck aft and on the sundeck, allowing meals to be enjoyed outdoors in different surroundings. Numerous additional seating and lounging areas provide plenty of choice for quiet relaxation or time together.

 

Forward, a generous seating area and large sun pads create another appealing outdoor retreat, offering an alternative to the busier aft decks and a wonderful place to relax during the day.
